Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 2026
CompareAI is free to use because it earns affiliate commissions. Here's exactly how that works, in plain language:
What's an affiliate link?
Some of the "Visit" and "Try" buttons on this site link to AI tool vendors through affiliate programs. If you click one and then buy a subscription, the vendor may pay us a commission — typically a percentage of the sale, sometimes recurring while you stay subscribed. It costs you nothing extra. You pay the same price as going direct.
How we label them
Outbound vendor links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" markup, and our buttons say "Affiliate link · supports our reviews" right on the button. This page, the homepage banner, and every review page disclose the relationship too.
Our promise
- Commissions never change ratings. Our rankings are ordered by value to readers, not by payout size.
- We review tools we don't earn from, too. If a tool is worth covering, we cover it — affiliate program or not.
- We say who should skip a tool. A commission isn't worth a bad recommendation.
